The U.S. government could save over $5 billion per year by privatizing the United States Postal Service (USPS), according to one government watchdog. USPS has lost $10.5 billion of taxpayer money in just the last two years, and the powers-that-be are currently working on expanding USPS into areas such as grocery delivery – a venture already well-covered by private companies.
